The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends
that everyone who is at least 6 months of age or older should get a flu vaccine
this season. This is especially important for people who have certain medical
conditions including asthma, diabetes, chronic lung disease, pregnancy, or
people 65 years or older. These individuals are considered high risk and should
get a flu shot.
The vaccine takes up to 2 weeks to take effect so the CDC
also recommends that you get vaccinated as soon as the flu vaccine becomes
available in your community.
Come out on to our Durham office on Tuesday and get yours!
